The FB-01 is a midi controlled module (optional rack available) with 4 operator/8 algorythm operation similar to the DX100/27/21 series. 240 rom based sounds are included as well as 2 user definable 48 patch banks.

The patches are created via external software for the Yamaha CX5M, Apple //e, Macintosh and Commodore computers. The FB-01 can be seperated into 8 separate timbres / 8 midi channels (or conbinations).

All functions are manipulated via 8 front panel buttons, and a back lit LCD display similar to the SPX90 is included.
